I finally watched some TV this weekend and popped in the new Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica on DVD.  Season 4 has been delayed till next month, due to the writers' strike, which means that I am finally caught up with BSG and can now read Wikipedia entries without fear of spoilers. 

Okay, I admit, I had my doubts about this series when it first came out. I mean, a chick Starbuck?

But I just bought the first and second seasons on DVD on Friday. I haven't stopped watching since. This series is GOOD. It really does pay homage to the old series, and they have a really great military consultant that puts in all the little details that make me smile. Especially since my old flight was called "Viper Flight". I ought to send them the Viper logo we had and see if they'll wear it on their jackets :)
